XXL’s 2015 Freshman list has been revealed today, naming Long Beach native, Vince Staples, Detroit’s Dej Loaf and New Jersey-born Fetty Wap as this years top artists to watch. This list has had it’s controversial issues including Nicki Minaj and Drake declining to be part of the list previously as well as Azealia Banks along with Twitter’s displeasure when Iggy Azealea made it to the list.
This years list includes the following:

• K Camp
• OG Maco
• Raury
• Shy Glizzy
• Tink
• Vince Staples
• Kidd Kidd (Fan Voted)
The annual XXL Freshman Concert will be held in New York on June 30th and Los Angeles on July 13th.
