10 R&B Songs That Will Get You in Your Feelings

Here are 10 songs that in one way or another got you into your feelings at least once during your lifetime. Whether you broke up or made up with an ex, thought about losing (or lost) your virginity or found out you were only a sidepiece; these 10 songs will bring back those happy (or sad) memories you have.

1. Foolish – Ashanti

A classic song about running back to your ex after all the BS you guys went through but eventually you end up leaving after realizing how “Foolish” you were being. Well Done, Ashanti.

2. Me, Myself & I – Beyoncé

You put this on when you’re on that “I fuck with no body but me,myself & I” tip. You probably had long day and everyone is not functioning to your standards. I totally understand.

3. Lay You Down – K-Young

The song you put on when it’s midnight and you’re about to go over to bae’s house to watch a movie.

4. HoustonAtlantaVegas – Drake

What could this playlist be with out some Drake? A song all about the strippers of course… Hey now, now.

5.  Say Yes – Lil Corey

This was a teenage favorite song during the MySpace days. If you never heard it, you don’t know what you’ve been missing.

 6. Make It Like It Was – Pretty Ricky

When you just got into fight with your significant other and you don’t know if y’all are going to recover and all you want to do is make it like it was.

7. Did You Wrong – Pleasure P

Did You Wrong was made for that one young couple in high school that was so “in love” but broke up every other day in the hall way.

8. Just a Friend – Mario

This song was made for that one dude you curved over and over again. He never realized that once you put him in the “friend zone” he was never getting out… hence the term “Just a Friend.”

9. Like A Virgin Again – Chris Brown featuring Tyga

A typical Chris Brown classic… The title is self-explanatory.

10. S.E.X. – Lyfe Jennings

Lyfe Jennings is known for making songs that make the whole male species cringe. Not much surprise with this single. I know all the 17 year old boys were disappointed, but I’m pretty sure fathers were happy they could put their shotguns away for a little while.
