New York rapper Nasir Jones announced earlier this week that he will be going on tour for his new documentary Nas: Time is Illmatic.
The year of 2014 has been for Nas as he has been celebrating the 20th anniversary of his debut album IIlmatic. In April, he released Illmatic XX, a remastered version of Illmatic. The album became on the most critically acclaimed albums of all time, ending up on every ‘Greatest Hip-Hop Album’ list. The album became platinum in 2001, 7 years after it’s debut.
