AUDIO: Lauryn Hill x Black Rage

In light of the protests going on in Ferguson, MO to get justice for slain teenager Mike Brown, Lauryn Hill dedicates an old sketch of her song “Black Rage” that was recorded in her living room a few years ago where she describes where black rage is found.

Mike Brown’s killer, Darren Wilson, has yet to be charged. A grand jury convened on today and a decision on whether to charge Wilson for the murder won’t be decided until October. St. Louis prosecutor, Bob McCulloch, who has ties to the police, is presenting the case despite the community’s call for recuse. Wilson will be tesitfying in front of the grand jury; unfortunately Mike Brown will not be able to do so since he was killed by Wilson himself.

Listen to “Black Rage” after the break.
