The Game Reveals ‘Year of the Wolf’ Tracklist & Cover Art

The Game has announced via Instagram the winner of his Year of the Wolf cover art contest in which he left in the hands of his loyal fans to design, which was extremely generous of the Compton rapper. The winning cover art is simplistic in nature and is set on a clean, white background, while his daughter, Cali, is pointing at a white wolf (presumably The Game himself).

In the end it was the concept (the world sees me as a big bad wolf but to my daughter @littlemisscali I’m just dad & her every wish in life is my command), simplicity & white background & Documentary style font had me sold.

Year of the Wolf will be released on October 14th and he now has initiated an additional contest to allow for an opportunity for another creative to get their work out there to design The Documentary 2′s cover art.

Now that this contest has concluded, I started “The Documentary 2” cover design contest & also provided you guys with the blueprint & a blank canvas to get started. You have til Dec 24th to submit all entries & the winner will be announced Jan 2nd 2015. Good luck & again, I thank every last one of my fans for taking the time & putting forth effort in these two contest.

The Documentary 2 is slated to drop January 18th, 2015 and will be the 10 year anniversary from his first album The Documentary.

What do you think of The Game’s cover art for Year of the Wolf? I think it’s pretty dope and I especially think it’s neat he’s giving starving graphic artists a nice opportunity to shine.
