2015 Grammy Nominations in Hip-Hop & R&B

The Recording Academy’s 57th Grammy ceremony is just around the corner and they have released their nominations in true 21st century style: via Twitter. Award shows have become a bit of joke to me ever since Kendrick Lamar got snubbed over Macklemore so as you peruse this list of nominations, please don’t look at this as a source of credibility or validity to the art form of hip hop. It looks like culture vulture Iggy Azealea leads most of the nominations including: Best New Artist, Record Of The Year, and Best Pop/Duo Performance, unfortunately, which is why I say, don’t look to these award shows as a source of validation or for most of these categories to be televised.
